One World - One Heart Giveaway

UPDATE: I have turned off comments on this post and will announce the winner of the giveaway tomorrow (Jan.12) I will be choosing the winner using a random number generator.

I'm taking part in a global event called One World - One Heart. OWOH was started in 2007 by Lisa Swifka, a blogger who explains it this way ... "The original idea behind this giveaway event was to bring bloggers together from around the world who may never ordinarily meet. It closes the gap of the blog community and enables us to interact, discover new and wonderful people, and in the process possibly win a prize or many prizes along the way.....it's a coming together like the giant community we are on this planet. If only it took a simple giveaway to create PEACE everywhere, in the mean time here we give from our hearts. We are not solving the worlds problems nor are we curing anything nor are we changing the world. We are merely generating a closer community between humans through blogging”.

Being relatively new to blogging (not to mention my company name is Heart's Desire Jewelry!) I want to participate. Here is the prize on my blog, handcrafted by me... the Tanzanite Heart Necklace. It is a strand of faceted Tanzanite rondelles alternating with delicate copper lined glass beads and a Venetian glass heart pendant. It closes with a sterling silver clasp and extender chain, which is finished off with our signature heart charm. The length of the necklace is adjustable from 16 to 18 inches. This is a one of a kind necklace and will go to the winning participant.

If you would like to enter the contest for the Tanzanite Heart Necklace, just place a comment on this blog. You do not need to be a blogger to enter. In order for me to contact you if you win, please include your e-mail address in the comment. You have until 9pm PST on February 11, 2009 to enter. I will be randomly choosing a winner from the comments and then naming the winner on my blog on February 12.
