The Sisterhood Award
I'm catching up on some much overdue gratitude today. I was recently honored with the Sisterhood Award by my fellow blogger and Women's Blogger Directory founder, Alana Roberts. I would like to take this opportunity to thank her for the award, but more importantly to thank her for all the hard work that she does for the Directory, an international group of diverse gals who have come together for support and community. None of it would have been possible without Alana's vision and hard work. You can read more about the group and its members atThe Sisterhood award is given to women bloggers who show gratitude and attitude. Wow, I'm speechless right now! Thank you so much for this great honor. It really means a lot to me coming from you. I'm a great admirer of your thoughts and passions at the Womens Blogger Directory and of course here at Heart's Desire Jewelry. I truly think that you are a woman with great heart. I will soon post about this on my blog. Now, I'm off for picking my daughter up from school. Best wishes :)
After an exhausting weekend 'covering' CRAP ART:Daegu (which raised over 1.5 million won for some local orphans)...I came home to this wonderful award. I am glad to be honored by the Women's Blogging Directory. In part because of the spirit and intent of this community, but mostly I am honored because of the caliber of women that have joined this network. They are a selfless and warm group of women from througout the world.
Keep writing!!
My best to each and everyone of you.
Ann Marie and Alana Roberts...thank you.
How thoughtless of me to forget congratulate every inspiring award nominee in all of excitement! Let me do it the right way this time :). I hope you have the time to read my post here. It is dedicated to you and all other amazing women who encourage me day by day. Thank you and best wishes.
I just came from Rosidah's blog & wanted to stop by & see your jewelry! It's all so pretty - I really like the colorful pieces, but then again, I also like the earth tone pieces too! Well, ok, I like it all! LoL!
Thanks, Tricia! :)
Thanks for checking out my blog (www.myadultland.com)! I dig your sisterhood award idea. I'm off to a photoshoot but I'm gonna dig deeper into your blog when I get home -- the jewelry really caught my eye.
Hope you made it to the Museum of Broken Relationships -- IT WAS AMAZING. But if not, no worries: I'm starting a new tradition: every Valentine's day I'm hosting The Party of Broken Relationships (http://myadultland.com/2009/02/16/update-museum-of-broken-relations-inspires-a-new-tradition/). Do come!
Cheers--
